Edward E. Corey
Edward E. Corey is the founding member of the firm, starting it in 1994 after leaving the Los Angeles firm of Cotkin & Collins as a partner specializing in business litigation. Mr. Corey continues to specialize in matters involving contract, employment, probate and trust, and real estate.
Mr. Corey’s practice also includes representation of numerous clients who are starting new businesses. The firm specializes in guiding clients in the selection of the appropriate entity for a particular business, the development of essential business contracts and the overall legal guidance necessary for new businesses.
Edward Corey is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the University of the Pacific, McGeorge, where he received his law degree with honors. Edward Corey is resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Joseph P. Corey
Joseph P. Corey joined Corey & Corey shortly after it was founded. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Corey was an associate at Brayton, Gisvold & Harley, a large plaintiff’s firm specializing is mass toxic tort litigation.
Joe practices in all areas of the firm’s business. He also specializes in estate planning, estate administration and probate, and all related litigation. Mr. Corey also advises clients in the areas of Special Needs Trusts.

Joe has also handled numerous complex, multi-million dollar, contested estates in San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, and Los Angeles Counties.
Joe is often called on as an estate expert by San Francisco's ABC-7 Television News. He has appeared on-air several times, including commentary on the Estate of Robin Williams.

His practice also includes acting as a private fiduciary for disabled and other uniquely situated beneficiaries (both minors and adults).

Joe is a native San Franciscan and cum laude graduate of the University of San Francisco. He earned his law degree at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.
